Long associated as being a symbol of love and beauty, some orchids have a reputation for being finickity to manage but that’s not something you need to worry about with our orchids.

Here at Longacres, we offer a stunning variety of Phalaenopsis Orchids, which are absolutely perfect for beginners or those still cultivating their green thumb. They don’t need the higher levels of humidity some more complex orchids do and they’re happy to sit somewhere light but don’t need lots of direct sunlight.

The most common cause of damage to orchids is over watering. Natively, they’re a tropical plant so only need a little water every few weeks and a gentle mist here and there. All our orchids come with care instructions but we’re always happy to help if you (or your orchid recipient) ever have any questions.
