PEAT FREE COMPOST FROM LONGACRES - No peat - great results!
Our revolutionary peat free compost has a moisture retentive, open structure and contains a special blend of plant nutrients formulated for great results. Use straight from the bag, there is no need to add any other materials.
PERFECT FOR:
- Beds & borders
- Containers
- Fruit & veg
- Herbs
WATERING & FEEDING
Ensure the compost is kept moist but avoid water-logging. After 6 weeks, we recommend supplementary feeding of nutrient hungry plants with a suitable feed.
POTTING ON
Make sure the rootball is thoroughly moist before repotting. Choose a suitable sized pot and partly fill with compost. Position the plant in the centre and fill around the plant with more compost. Firm lightly and water.
PLANTING OUT
Dig a hole 1.5 to 3 times larger than the root system. Fork over the base if compacted. Place plant into hole adding in compost. Backfill, firming to remove air pockets. Water well. Mulch with compost and keep weed free until established.
SUSTAINABLE GROWING
Our peat free formula is packed full of goodness and is designed to store and release water and nutrients to the roots, making it easier to care for your plants.
