Berberis thunbergii f. atropurpurea 'Aurea'
Common name: Japanese barberry
High impact, deciduous shrub has tiny bell-shaped yellow flowers in Spring. It has yellow small and rounded leaves, and has orange/red autumn colouration.
It likes part shade, well drained soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous), alkaline or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
