Common name: Knapweed
A cottage garden favourite, this picturesque, deciduous perennial (herbaceous) has surprising and jagged blue flowers in Summer. It has green lance shaped, toothy leaves.
It likes sun, well drained soil and is happy in acid (ericaceous), alkaline or neutral soil. It is frost hardy.
Height & spread 0.45m x 0.50m.
