We believe kids deserve a safe trampoline. Here at Springfree we know many parents worry about their kids on a trampoline, however our design provides peace of mind for the parents while the kids bounce and have fun.
So how did it all come about? Twenty years ago Dr. Keith Alexander tried to find a safe trampoline for his kids, but found there was no such thing. In fact after conducting some research he found that over 100,000 kids a year were being sent to hospital because of traditional trampoline injuries. He was shocked by this statistic and as an engineer and a father he was compelled to do something about it!
Dr. Alexander looked at what was causing trampoline injuries, then engineered out the impact zones responsible for the accidents. He replaced the springs with rods, creating the revolutionary SoftEdge™ system. Then he developed a strong flexible safety net that would stand up to all kinds of weather and moved the frame below the jumping surface making it impossible to fall on. Therefore creating the first trampoline without springs, hence our name Springfree.
We have 6 trampolines in our range in 3 different shapes: round, oval or square starting from 8ft Round to our 13ft Jumbo Round. We have a trampoline for every garden!
Although safety has always been our first priority, quality and longevity are a very close second which is why we are the only trampoline that offers an amazing 10 year warranty!
When asked why trampolines are so great, we probably all respond with a similar answer: Because they provide a fun, outdoor activity for the entire family to enjoy together. While this is true, we tend to overlook the health benefits associated with that activity!
